No-Call/No-Show Policy
We greatly
appreciate the courtesy the vast majority of our clients give to us by showing
up for their appointments at their scheduled appointment time or for contacting
us if they need to cancel or reschedule.
However, we do
occasionally have clients who do not call us to cancel or change their
appointments and then do not show up at their scheduled appointment time,
despite the fact that we contact scheduled clients to remind them about their
appointments on the previous business day. This causes a great deal of
frustration for both Live Curly Live Free and also for our other clients, who
are subsequently forced to wait longer for an appointment than they may have
otherwise preferred.
To avoid future
inconvenience, we have unfortunately found it necessary to establish a
no-call/no-show policy. If a client does not show up at their scheduled
appointment time and has not previously called Live Curly Live Free to cancel or
reschedule that appointment, they will be placed on a "walk-in basis only" list.
Clients on this list will no longer be able to book appointments in advance and
must instead physically walk into the salon to see if there is stylist
availability at that immediate time.
We understand
that emergencies do not always make it possible to cancel or reschedule an
appointment in a timely manner. If you have been unable to keep an appointment
and have extenuating circumstances as to why you could not call to cancel that
appointment in advance, please contact us at 727.424.7325 and we will be more
than happy to discuss the situation with you.

email is not a valid method of contacting us to change or cancel any
appointments as we are not set up to maintain or manage appointments via email.
Holiday Booking Policy
Because of our
specialized curly hair techniques, many clients from out-of-state and abroad
take the opportunity to visit us during their travels to the Tampa Bay area,
especially during peak holiday times. We are always thrilled to meet our
curly-haired sisters from around the globe and are honored so many of them look
forward to entrusting their beautiful curls to us during their visit here.
It is unfortunate
that during each peak holiday time, there is virtually always an out-of-town
client or two who books an appointment with us several months in advance,
subsequently changes their travel plans and neglects to call us to cancel the
appointment, then does not show up at their scheduled appointment time. Even
though we call scheduled clients to remind them about their appointments on the
previous business day, these clients still do not contact us to let us know
their holiday travel plans have changed and they will no longer be keeping their
scheduled appointment.
Peak holiday seasons
are extremely busy times for Live Curly Live Free and we have more than a few
existing clients who are unable to book a prime holiday appointment time as a
result, despite the extended hours we offer. Although we do maintain a
cancellation list, it is not always possible for us to fill a time slot that has
been abandoned at the last minute. This causes an extreme amount of frustration
for both Live Curly Live Free as well as for our regular local clients, who
subsequently may have lost their opportunity to book an appointment during our
peak holiday seasons.
To avoid future
inconvenience, we have unfortunately found it necessary to establish a holiday
booking policy. Any new client not local to the Tampa Bay area who wishes to
book an appointment during the peak holiday dates listed below must provide us
with a valid credit card number at the time the appointment is made. If the
client does not call Live Curly Live Free to change or cancel their appointment
and then does not show up at their scheduled appointment time, they will still
be charged for all of the services booked. However, if the client calls Live
Curly Live Free at any time to change or cancel their appointment, even as late
as the actual day of the appointment itself, no charges will be made.
We understand
